Tod Martin

Founder & CEO

Tod is the founder of The Martin Group and drives the agency’s unwavering entrepreneurial spirit and best-in-class approach to breakthrough creative and proactive marketing communication solutions for clients large and small. His focus on passion, connection and sophistication inspires all those around him to deliver dynamic ideas that truly work. A 25-year advertising veteran, Tod is a trustee of the Western New York Public Broadcasting Association and remains active on numerous boards including those of the BISON Children’s Scholarship Fund and the WNY Law Enforcement Association.

Matt Davison

Managing Partner | Martin Davison Public Relations

With a background in politics, economic development, and crisis communications, Matt’s efforts in leading the agency’s public relations affiliate are built around simple principles—be kind, be truthful, take the high road and never get outworked. A former Capitol Hill and Empire State Development press aide, Matt’s many years of experience is now focused on service to clients like M&T Bank and the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation. With a masters in PR management, Matt is a past Business First “40 under 40” awardee, and serves on the boards of Invest Buffalo Niagara and the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation. A former college ball player, you can find Matt at the baseball field with his sons, Jack and Will, during his free time.

Tim Coppola

Chief Financial Officer | Chief Operating Officer

Adding comprehensive business acumen to The Martin Group’s cutting-edge creative capabilities, Tim oversees all the agency’s business, financial, HR and IT needs. With 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, he is a key resource in guiding business strategies, decisions and plans for the agency’s future. Tim holds an MBA from Canisius College, and his previous positions include operations president at Sanford Brown Institute in Orlando, Florida, and vice president of finance at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. An easy going, good-natured agency leader, Tim enjoys capping off a great week with a cold pint of Guinness.

Lisa Strock

Senior Vice President | Managing Director Buffalo

Lisa is an executive leader with responsibilities that span direct management of the agency’s corporate headquarters, input on culture and oversight of all client service efforts. With an MBA and successful completion of Leadership Niagara, Lisa’s superior business experience in a range of industries ensures that clients receive solutions needed to spark business growth. Her tenacious spirit, marketing prowess and dedication to being a strategic and thoughtful partner help Lisa navigate communication challenges for all of her clients. As a working mom with young children, she also brings valuable thinking and efficiency to the workplace, while finding time to involve herself with various non-profit causes.

Dion Pender

Senior Vice President | Executive Creative Director | Managing Director Rochester

Dion’s entry into advertising came as the first intern Crowley Webb ever hired on a permanent basis. From there, he’s spent 20+ years climbing the ranks of top agencies in Buffalo and Rochester, and now leads our Rochester office, managing our creative product and growing the business through cultivating meaningful client relationships. With an affinity for corporate identity and branding, Dion’s career is decorated with a multitude of awards including an Obie Award, numerous National ADDY awards and the distinguished Alex Osbourne Award for Creativity. He’s also been published in dozens of international branding, design and corporate identity books and publications including Print Magazine, HOW Magazine’s International Design Awards, The One Show, Print’s Best Logos and Graphis.

Kelli Putney

Senior Vice President | Brand Strategist

An architect of The Martin Group’s Brand Fuel process, Kelli is instrumental in developing the identity behind our clients’ brands. With nearly 25 years of advertising and branding experience, Kelli is a veteran strategist who’s created numerous branding blueprints designed specifically to move the needle for clients. Her previous experience includes positions as vice president of account service with The Wolf Group in Buffalo; marketing manager for Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) in Washington, D.C.; public affairs specialist and speechwriter with the Department of Defense; and communications manager for a trade association in Northern Virginia.

Alexa Christopher

Vice President | Brand Strategy

With a well-honed intellect for business strategy and in-depth marketing communications experience, Alexa’s 22-year industry tenure enables her to consistently deliver astute insights and high-level counsel to clients. Her professional path includes various marketing and management roles at Travers Collins, Crowley Webb, Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak, LLP, and White Bicycle. Alexa joined The Martin Group in 2004 as the firm’s first brand strategist and spent five years stewarding the agency’s brand discipline. After spending time raising her family and expanding her professional experience, Alexa returned to the firm in 2017, where she leads brand strategy.  In her current role, she develops, conducts and analyzes all qualitative research, crafts brand and social media strategies and assists in new business and employee development. An affable, well-rounded agency asset, Alexa holds a B.A. in English language and literature from the University of Michigan and an Ed.M. in secondary education for English from the University at Buffalo.

Dick Shaner Jr.

Senior Vice President | Martin Davison Public Relations

An avid golfer, Dick dreams of playing on the PGA Champions Tour, but meanwhile, he provides strategic public relations counsel, issues management, and media relations to an impressive roster of clients including Independent Health, Mental Health Advocates of Western New York, TCD Medical, and Christ the King Seminary. Dick spent 17 years at Travers Collins prior to joining us in 2014. Long active in local affairs, Dick co-chairs the mission advancement advisory council for the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities and provides pro bono PR assistance to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Western & Central New York. His memberships include: Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York, board of directors; Against the Storm Foundation, board of directors; Buffalo State College, communications advisory board. A member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Dick is a past recipient of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter’s May C. Randazzo Practitioner of the Year Award.

Duane Bombard

Vice President | Creative Director

After he was told by a high school guidance counsellor that he couldn’t make a living as a writer, Duane built a creative career with more than 20 years of writing experience, working with brands like the PGA TOUR, Mercedes Benz and Kennedy Space Center as well as nationally-recognized, Rochester-based brands like Xerox, Eastman Kodak and Genesee Brewing. Located in our Rochester office, Duane co-leads our entire creative team to produce innovative, impactful and emotional campaigns. With time-tested passion and tireless motivation (he helped pay his way through college by driving railroad spikes for eight hours a day), Duane’s career is decorated with a collection of accolades including multiple PRism, ADDY, Telly and Best of the Web awards.

John Jiloty

Vice President | Social Media and Content

An expert on all things social media and content marketing, John consistently creates results for brands across social media platforms. A Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications graduate and award-winning content creator/strategist, John’s wide variety of experience includes relationships with top national and international companies, as well as a host of small businesses and young startups, across an array of different media and platforms. Also spearheading the efforts to broaden our Martin Sport portfolio through his deep connections spanning 15 years in sports media, you might find John skiing down or hiking up mountains with his young daughters, Avery and Pfeiffer, and his wife, Julia.

Jim Lynch

Vice President | Media Director

Jim’s 30+ years of experience in media, media research, planning and buying allow him to provide clients with educated, strategic media solutions that consistently deliver results. An energetic, enthusiastic operator known for his steadfast dedication to clients, he takes every assignment head-on with a positive attitude. Jim’s fast-paced personality isn’t limited to his work ethic; this running enthusiast has completed numerous triathlons, and he’s twice ran in the Boston Marathon.

Kate Chokshi

Vice President | Account Service

Vast experience in a variety of verticals makes Kate a valuable asset. For healthcare, nonprofits, energy and sustainability, and retail, she has virtually done it all, strategizing issue and advocacy advertising, developing internal communications, planning cross-channel media campaigns as well as branding. Having worked at premier firms such as Ogilvy CommonHealth Market Access in Connecticut and The Glover Park Group in Washington, DC and New York City, Kate’s diverse client list includes Visa, eBay, Gap Inc., UnitedHealth Group, and Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection. Her outgoing, versatile personality keeps her calm under pressure and moves projects along as she manages our account service team, participates in new business acquisition while also directing marquee clients. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys time spent with her two young children and husband, taking yoga classes, and cooking.

Levi Neuland

Vice President | Digital Strategy

With 15 years in the industry, Levi leads our team of digital developers to deliver progressive projects that reach and exceed clients’ business goals. In previous positions, Levi worked with companies like Delaware North, the Buffalo Sabres, the Buffalo Bills and Fisher-Price, and he now collaborates with our internal teams to create best-of-class interactive experiences for clients such as New Era Cap Company, the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and Excelsior College. An easygoing, enthusiastic team leader, Levi taps into his wide range of digital marketing experience to deliver projects that produce results.

Michael Tsanis

Vice President | Creative Director

A dynamic visionary who spearheaded the rebranding of The Martin Group, Michael oversees the conceptual and visual output of our art directors, designers, writers, and creative supervisors. His creative passion and insightful leadership bring brands to life with distinguished style and distinctive results, whether they are for local concerns or international industries. Brands the ADDY award-winning Michael has designed and/or directed for almost two decades include ASICS, the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, New Era Cap, Under Armour, Kaleida Health, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Fisher-Price, Ford Dealers of WNY, General Electric, KeyBank, and National Fuel. Constantly creating, Michael spends his free time reimagining and renovating his 1890s home in the Elmwood Village.

Amanda Clark

Senior Account Manager

With nearly a decade of marketing experience in healthcare and finance, Amanda has a special appreciation for advertising’s combination of innovation, creativity, and analytics. After graduating from SUNY Oswego with a B.A. in Public Relations & International Business and working in Boston for three years, Amanda returned to Buffalo to manage the marketing department of UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, where she established and facilitated business opportunities with community physicians, major hospital systems, and corporate partners, among other duties. Now holding an MBA from the University at Buffalo, Amanda leads the Kaleida Health account and works with Evans Bank, Under Armour, Strut and BestSelf Behavioral Health. During off hours, this self-professed British history nerd enjoys traveling, reading about nutrition, and dining at her favorite Buffalo restaurants.

Amy Strzelec

Director | Creative Operations

Inspired by the creativity and collaboration of the agency world, Amy loves the opportunity to use her right and left brain every day. Her diverse and well-rounded experience in account service, new business development, project management, and film production make her an ideal fit to lead The Martin Group’s Creative Operations department. Her detail-oriented duties include overseeing our traffic and workflow process, with an eye towards enhancing efficiencies in all areas, including production for print and video as well as editorial efforts. Outside of work, the engagingly extroverted Amy adores outside activities, everything Italian, music, cooking, travel, and spending time with her two young daughters.

Ashlee Bueg

Senior Art Director

Ashlee’s enthusiasm for both good design and good food makes her a perfect fit for our Wegmans team, developing creative concepts for the company’s restaurants, events, pharmacy, and more. After graduating magna cum laude from SUNY Fredonia with a BFA in graphic design, she gained experience in a variety of markets, with companies from Fisher-Price to Gannett. Ashlee is a jane of all trades whose hobbies include cooking, shoe shopping, boxing, tennis, and home remodel/repair. Ashlee prides herself on being an excellent cat mom and a devoted Harry Potter fan.

Andrea Elliott

Creative Supervisor

Coupled with her passion for typography, design and branding, Andrea’s dedication to delivering meaningful, award-winning work has made her an invaluable asset to our creative team. With degrees in both graphic design and communications from the University at Buffalo, Andrea joined the advertising world in 2009 and quickly rose through the ranks with much acclaim. Her versatile list of clients includes Wegmans, Three Brothers Wineries & Estates, Generations Bank and Catholic Charities of Buffalo. Andrea works and lives in Rochester with her husband Matt, daughter Julep and cat Banksy.

Andrew Henesey

Senior Art Director

Andrew earned his stripes at the agency, starting at The Martin Group as an intern in 2012. His dedication and creative drive led to a full-time position, and he now specializes in branding/identity projects, campaign promotions and motion graphics. With five years of experience, he works with marquee agency clients like New Era Cap, Lids and Under Armour. Andrew’s particular passion for typography transcends his professional work; he has the entire alphabet tattooed on his body.

Andrew Martis

Art Director

Before joining TMG, Andrew spent two years as Lead Graphic Designer at Holstee, a New York City based startup that created products and experiences to inspire a more mindful and fulfilling life. There, Andrew focused on identity, lettering, illustration, branding, packaging and design for letterpress and screenprinting for clients like National Public Radio (NPR) and the BREWROOM. For TMG, he services New Era, Buffalo Medical Group and any client who could benefit from his discerning eye. A SUNY Fredonia graduate who once had artwork displayed in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Andrew is passionate about the visual storytelling behind brands and is always determined to build work that lasts.

Andrew Scutt

Senior Public Relations Manager

Buffalo native Andrew Scutt cut his PR teeth in Chicago, where he helped clients activate Olympic, NCAA, and extreme sports sponsorships. He also spent time on the course pitching the 2012 Ryder Cup, 2015 PGA Championship, and multiple PGA TOUR sponsors. At Zeno Group, he focused on media strategy and creative brand storytelling for clients like Netflix, Turtle Wax, and World Kitchen. With his versatile experience, Andrew now directs PR strategy and execution for a diverse mix of The Martin Group clients, including New Era Cap, the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, DKMS, and others. Outside of work, Andrew is a ‘90s pop culture nerd and proud beardsman who is constantly reminding people to ask before they touch his facial hair.

Anna Hofer

Digital Media Supervisor

Anna joined The Martin Group after gaining experience from previous Buffalo & Rochester agencies. Her advertising career, spanning more than a decade, includes experience creating strategic media plans for companies like State Farm, Catholic Health, and Tops Friendly Markets, and now she assists our media department in identifying effective digital strategies for a wide variety of clients. A Rochester native and Canisius College graduate, Anna’s achievements include IAB Digital Media and Google Ads certifications. Anna spends her free time CrossFitting, watching reality TV, and chasing around her two-year-old daughter.

Aziza Abdul-Alim

Graphic Designer

Whether it be fashion or furniture, Aziza has an interest in all disciplines of design, but her passion for graphic design allows her to use her creative problem solving skills. Immediately after graduating from the University at Buffalo, she joined Say Yes Buffalo ­as the only in-house designer providing creative support to their 15 departments. Recognized in the Changemakers 30 Under 30 Class of 2018, the rising star currently assists The Martin Group’s internal branding initiatives and various client efforts. In her free time, Aziza enjoys travelling, making art, and being the “fun aunt” for her nieces and nephews.

Caitlin Higman

Project Manager

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo with a dual degree in marketing and operations, Caitlin launched her professional career with The Martin Group following successful internships at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, Rochester Athletic Club for Women, CLIC Sargent in London, England, and our very own agency. Working with clients like Kaleida Health and The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, her duties include supporting the Buffalo Office’s account service and creative departments on day-to-day tactical operations for integrated campaigns and projects. The extremely organized Rochester native works closely with our teams to ensure that client goals are accomplished on time and on budget. During her off hours, Caitlin pursues her foodie passion at her second job as a chocolatier/baker, making professional wedding cakes, desserts, ice cream, and chocolate.

Cameron Bailey

Public Relations and Content Coordinator

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Advertising and Marketing Communications, Cameron came to The Martin Group after producing the public relations, content strategy, and social media for tech startup—and first 43North winner—ACV Auctions. Now, the Buffalo native handles PR and media relations for agency clients DKMS and New Era Cap while also doing influencer research and managing partnerships for ASICS and Under Armour. As an intern, he worked with such noted brands as Ralph Lauren (jewelry), Piaget, Johnston & Murphy, philosophy, and Betsey Johnson. Personal style is important to this laidback millennial who is obsessed with pop culture and driven to become the best version of himself.

Carrie Gilbert

Assistant Art Director

An adventurous and spontaneous soul, Carrie’s world travels have allowed her to find her passion for graphic design in the world around her. While studying Visual Communication Design at Nazareth College, she spent her sophomore year abroad in Berlin, Germany. During Carrie’s final semester before graduating, she was back on a plane heading overseas to attend the Santa Reparta International School of Art in Florence, Italy, where she was fortunate to partake in a graphic design internship through the nonprofit organization COSPE Onlus. Today she works with our team on-site at Wegmans, where she uses her attention to detail to ensure excellence in creative work. You can find Carrie enjoying her free time as a swim instructor or training for her next running race. Always on the lookout for her next travel destination, she aspires to someday visit every continent.

Ca-rin Miles

Office Administrator

With her full-time smile and infectiously positive outlook, Ca-rin covers the front desk on a part-time basis. Her duties also include general clerical needs, meeting and conference room setup, and other administrative assignments. Bringing over two decades of office/human resources administration experience to The Martin Group, the BNHRA and SHRM member previously worked as Human Resources & Office Administrator at Buffalo Niagara Partnership/Invest Buffalo Niagara; HR/Office Administrator at Rich Products; and HR Administrator/Switchboard Supervisor at Sheehan Memorial Hospital. Outside of work, Ca-rin is an outgoing and bubbly fashion fan who also loves reading, listening to music, and traveling with friends and family.

Chase Martin

Traffic Coordinator | Brand Manager

With a can-do approach to wrangling all the moving pieces and parts that come along with producing work at an agency, Chase keeps things running as smoothly as possible. An easy-going teammate with a keen mind for agency processes, he’s a valuable resource in keeping our office—and creative work—humming along steadily. A graduate of Buffalo State College, Chase joins us from the Advantage Company, where he most recently held the role of Assistant Footwear Manager.

Chelsie Ross

Account Coordinator/Project Manager

Chelsie joins The Martin Group after returning to the Rochester area from Manhattan, where she began her career with broadcast media giant Crown Media Family Networks, home of the Hallmark Channel and subsidiaries. There she was on a team that won Marketing Team of the Year at the 2017 Cablefax Awards, and she led a design project that won an American Inhouse Design Award in 2018. She then left the broadcast media world for a small agency, where she assumed responsibilities in both project management and overall business operations. She and her team executed Google’s Win10 Campaign, as well as projects for Salesforce and Crowdstrike. As part of our Rochester account team, Chelsie helps ensure the successful completion of projects for clients such as Trillium Health, BonaDent Dental Laboratories, Syracuse University, Jewish Senior Life, Cornell University, New York Wine & Grape Foundation, Wegmans, and more. Chelsie spends her free time visiting her family in her hometown, exploring Rochester, traveling both domestically and internationally, and attending as many concerts as she can.

Colin Volker

Social Media Content Manager

After falling in love with an Interpersonal Communications course as an undergrad at ECC, Colin was inspired to pursue a B.S. in Public Relations, Advertising & Applied Communications at Buffalo State College. Since then, he has worked for a variety of firms, gaining experience writing unique copy that helps move brands outside their box and reach people in creative ways using social media and content marketing. Previous clients include Artpark, Ciminelli Real Estate, and Seneca Nation of Indians. Now he develops social strategies and works with creative to deliver content that hits for clients like Galbani Cheese, ECMC, Invest Buffalo Niagara, Strut Health, and Wicked Cin Cinnamon Whiskey. Outside of work, the eccentric Buffalo native enjoys hot yoga, traveling for concerts, and is a self-confessed “skincare junkie.”

Craig Campbell

Lead Web Developer

Craig is a self-taught digital developer whose specialty in customized front- and back-end web development help him create new websites based on existing design assets, update and maintain pre-existing sites and assist with set-up, integration and maintenance of third-party providers including email clients, payment funnels and social media channels. With an aptitude for adapting to the ever-changing atmosphere web development, Craig has built a seven-year career during which he’s worked with clients like Buffalo Medical Group, ANVL, Nottingham Advisors, Buffalo Central Terminal and New Era Cap Company. A graduate of Niagara University, Craig enjoys cooking for his wife and two young sons when he’s not working on new websites.

Dan Giacomini

Marketing Director

A former high school and college quarterback, Dan has scored an impressive marketing and strategic communications record, with specific expertise in branding and positioning, public relations, content strategy and campaign planning. Prior to joining TMG, Dan was a senior vice president at an Orchard Park firm and before that, a PR account executive in Buffalo. An East Aurora native who worked in New York City for several years, his client experience includes Fortune 500 companies, leading nonprofits and iconic local organizations – such as Allstate, Coca-Cola, HEALTHeLINK, Laux Sporting Goods, National Grid, Niacet, Old Fort Niagara, RBC Wealth Management, SATA Airlines, Southern Tier Brewing Company and UBMD Physicians’ Group. Still a fast mover, Dan has successfully completed four marathons …so far.

Daniel Jurman

Assistant Art Director

Daniel recognizes that you don’t need to say a lot to tell a great story—a lesson he learned creating flyers for the heavy metal bands he played with in high school. Today his passion for storytelling, conceptual advertising, and brand creation inspires his work at The Martin Group, where he collaborates on a range of digital and print projects for clients such as Syracuse University, Jewish Senior Life, Wegmans, and Nichols School. His previous work for clients such as Xerox, Ronald McDonald House, AOL, and Cello brand cheese has earned him Gold and Silver ADDY awards and a Graphis 2020 Silver award. In an age when an art director’s role is largely digital, Daniel loves being able to apply illustration to a design when the opportunity arises. When he’s not creating award-winning marketing pieces or competing in a Street Fighter II tournament, Daniel spends his free time working out at the gym, watching B-movies with friends, or relaxing at home with his fiancé and their two cats.

Darwin McPherson

Proofreader | Copy Editor

Darwin’s 30 years of professional communications experience include positions as a marketing freelancer for DC Comics, contributing writer for Buffalo Spree and Artvoice, and director of corporate communications at Buffalo television station WNED, all of which helped cultivate his interest in creative, well-executed projects. As proofreader and copy editor, Darwin’s keen eye for detail and understanding of client style and brand standards allow him to ensure our clients’ work is executed to the best of our ability. Though known for his quiet, observant personality, Darwin has an appreciation for the theatrical, having been a theatre reviewer for 17 years and judge for “the Arties,” the Artvoice Theatre Awards.

Dave Riley

Creative Director

Dave’s creative drive is to make the complex simple and the user experience memorable. His career began with The Wolf Group where he designed a logo for the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce that’s still in use today and has been viewed by millions of people. Since then, Dave has developed a versatile arsenal of creative skills including art direction of television, print design, environmental branding, identity design, and digital architecture and design. His impressive roster of national clients includes Under Armour, Dick’s Sporting Goods, New Era Cap Company, Delaware North, ESAB Welding and Cutting, LEKI USA, and Greatbatch Inc. An imaginative industry veteran, Dave’s work goes beyond the typical and delivers well-crafted results. Outside the office, Dave channels his passion for mentoring as a youth travel baseball coach and enjoys the comedic banter of Conan O’Brien.

Debbie Desmond

Communications and Operations Coordinator

Visitors to our Buffalo office are often greeted by Debbie, who monitors the front desk while also serving a number of administrative roles. When not making our guests comfortable, she provides clerical support throughout the agency. While working at The Martin Group is Debbie’s first foray in the advertising/marketing industry, the Canisius College graduate—B.A. in Psychology—has experience with Niagara Envelope Company as a Human Resources Administrator and Computer Task Group as a Benefits Specialist/401k Administrator.  Married with two children, the Buffalo native likes to watch the Bills and Lebron James, volunteer, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.

Dima Maddah

Digital Media Manager

Realizing early on the emerging importance of social media in digital marketing, Dima launched her career as an entry-level social media strategist with LocalEdge and Hearst Media in 2011.  Within a few years, she supervised a team of 10 strategists while developing and evolving the social products her team managed. In her current role, Dima uses her strong background in paid social advertising to create data-driven strategies to amplify her client’s brand and messaging on an array of social platforms while attracting new engaged followers and potential customers. When Dima’s not spending time scrolling through Instagram and Twitter, she’s hanging out with her little Yorkipoo with a big personality, Peanut.

Emily Borden

Assistant Art Director

A self-described introvert in an extroverted world, Emily expresses herself through graphic design and through music. She developed a passion for advertising design thanks to her classes at Nazareth College, where she graduated magna cum laude, as well as her internships at two Rochester agencies. She now works with our team on-site at Wegmans’ Henrietta design studio. While at Naz, she was the beat boxer for the college’s a cappella group and played trombone in various ensembles, and she still plays in a community band that her mom directs. Digital Creative Supervisor

A jack-of-all-trades (with a master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications), Eric’s skillsets include illustration, web design and development, video production and editing, and motion graphics. Equally comfortable drawing or coding, Eric’s range of traditional skills enhance his modern technical talents, offering our clients a singularly insightful resource who has won multiple Rochester ADDY and PRism awards. Previous clients who have benefitted from his services include Kodak, Xerox, Constellation Brands, Lactalis, and Capital One. A self-proclaimed “big Beatles fan” who enjoys playing guitar and piano and seeing live music, Eric has many hard days and nights managing his own “fab four” as the father of three sons and a daughter.

Eric Wright

Account Director

Intrigued by the motivations of consumer purchasing proclivities and corporate commercial creativity, Eric was inspired to pursue a career in brand marketing. After graduating from UB with an MBA, the Long Island native built up a career researching, planning, executing and directing marketing strategy focused on building strong relationships between brands and their consumers. During the last two decades, he has worked with such high-level brands as Microsoft, HP, Cisco and IBM. After honing his sports marketing skills during a five-year tenure at New Era Cap, Eric came to The Martin Group to serve as primary lead on the ASICS account. A sports enthusiast in his spare time, Eric enjoys playing golf and coaching his kids’ various activities.

Frank Conjerti

Associate Creative Director

As a former VP, Creative Director at a local agency, Frank offers over a decade’s worth of diverse industry experience and creative insight and oversight. With roots in video production and digital design, the University at Buffalo graduate also worked as a video editor and motion graphics artist, and served a short stint as a front-end developer. His previous client list includes Life Storage, the Mentholatum Company, Northwest Bank, and Sahlen’s Hot Dogs. For The Martin Group, he serves many clients with his singular aesthetic sensibilities and considerable copywriting skills.  Constantly creative outside of work as well, Frank writes screenplays and sketch comedy in his free time.

Gail Sklair

Senior Production Designer

Gail is a veteran production designer, amassing over 20 years of industry experience with stints as a senior production artist at Roberts Communications and Partners + Napier, as well as spending time as a freelancer. Outgoing, approachable and thoughtful, Gail now uses her talents to provide high-end creative to agency client Wegmans, producing mechanicals for packaging and assisting with a wide array of additional graphic design needs. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Gail’s passion for watching her ideas grow spans beyond her interest in art and design; she’s also an avid gardener.

Haley Skomra

Account Manager

A champion archer who has been shooting since age six, Haley aims to offer brand management and client service that is always on target. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a B.S. in Communication, her experience includes two years at NBC affiliate WGRZ TV- Channel 2, where she managed major advertising budgets of $1.2 million and trained sales assistants on best practices of network selling and client engagement, among other duties. Currently, she services New Era Cap and other key accounts. When she’s not enjoying an active lifestyle, Haley likes to travel, explore new restaurants and breweries, and try new recipes.

Jenna Perry

Project Coordinator

Representing the fifth generation of the local Perry’s Ice Cream empire, Jenna has been exposed to the business world for her entire life. Inspired by the unique experiences that came with the family business, she decided to pursue a career in marketing. Aside from working at Perry’s as a marketing intern and social media assistant, she also interned at Step Out Buffalo and another WNY firm. A graduate of Medaille College with a degree in Business Administration, Jenna is a key member of our Creative Operations department and was instrumental in developing and executing the evolving project management process. During her off hours, she enjoys working alongside a wedding stylist, doing freelance bridal makeup, and spending time with boyfriend, family, friends, and pets.

Jennifer Hunold

Senior Account Manager

Cheerful, collaborative and creative, Jen is an outgoing communicator who brings contagious enthusiasm and organizational expertise to our Albany office. The Iowa native has a BFA from the University of Iowa and a MFA from University at Albany (SUNY).  Before joining The Martin Group, Jen garnered six years of industry experience honing her brand management and business development skills in multiple verticals, including education. Currently, she supports our clients in the Capital Region with brand and account management, strategy and project management. She also enjoys making work outside of work as a trained fine artist, producing very colorful, detailed drawings. Beyond that, she works out, hangs out, writes, gardens, grills and explores with her husband in Troy, NY.

Jenny LePore

Director of Public Relations and Social Media

Whether guiding a client through a new product launch, a company rebrand, or a corporate crisis, there’s no public relations challenge Jenny doesn’t rise to meet. An industry veteran with more than a decade of experience, Jenny worked up the ranks of the Rochester agency circuit before launching her own consulting firm. Throughout her career she has spearheaded integrated marketing campaigns for FORTUNE 500 companies including Frontier Communications, Windstream, Paychex, Olympus America, and Sirona Dental. Her 2015 integrated PR campaign for Windstream received national recognition, winning both a BMA B2 Award for B2B PR program of the year and a Global Ace Award for PR campaign of the year. As an esteemed member of our public relations team, Jenny helps drive client growth within the Rochester market, overseeing PR and social media initiatives for organizations such as Cornell University. When not at work, you can find Jenny and her husband chasing after their two small toddlers, attending their teen’s school events, or hiking Perinton’s scenic trails.

Jillian Gallagher

Associate Creative Director

Jillian’s confidence in her copywriting abilities allows her to develop and enhance the creative concepts that make The Martin Group’s work consistently exceed expectations. Bringing keenly sharpened skills from her experience at New York agencies FutureBrand, Siegel+Gale and the Brand Union where she worked with national and international brands like Oculus VR, [yellowtail], Cadillac, Dockers and AB InBev, Jillian works on a variety of agency clients including YMCA Buffalo Niagara, ECMC, ABC-Amega and Galbani. A graduate of Fordham University, Jillian spends her time exploring her rediscovered hometown of Buffalo and reading the works of authors like Margaret Atwood, Marilynne Robinson and Flannery O’Connor.

Jodi Matthias

Senior Art Director

Having worked over twenty years in the advertising industry, Indiana native Jodi has experience developing strong concept, design and mechanical artwork for local, regional and national clients Lincoln Financial Group, Vera Bradley Designs and Artlink. Recipient of over 30 Addy Awards and Citations from the Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne, she has done design and layout of ads, brochures and other collateral material as well as website design, corporate identity, photo retouching and photo direction. Working primarily on Wegmans for our Rochester office, Jodi produces mechanicals, design and illustrations and maintains design and brand consistency within creative jobs. Always up for an outdoor adventure, Jodi is a world traveler who sails competitively and loves hiking and camping in the Adirondacks with her family.

Joe Phelan

Public Relations Coordinator

A graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a B.A. in journalism and mass communication, Joe spent two years as a City reporter at The Saratogian in Saratoga Springs, NY before joining The Martin Group. Working out of our Albany office, he supports public relations efforts for a variety of clients and collaborates with our traffic, creative, and production teams on integrated projects. Joe, an upbeat and vibrant native of Drexel Hill, PA, follows the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia 76ers. He also enjoys going for hikes, seeing movies in theaters, writing, and public libraries.

Joe Sawyko

A Rochester native with his BA in graphic design from Mercyhurst University, Joe is a great fit for our growing Rochester office, bringing 17 years of design experience with major brands like Hanes, Fisher-Price and The Hershey Company. Primarily working with agency client Wegmans, Joe ensures that all creative materials maintain brand consistency, and he’s a critical part of the creation and development of packaging mechanicals. A self-proclaimed sneakerhead and collector of original concert art prints, Joe spends time every summer hiking and fishing in the Adirondacks with his wife and two sons.

John Mackowiak

Director | Public Relations & Public Affairs

With an ardent interest in Upstate New York’s economic resurgence, John uses his nine years of communication experience to plan and implement strategic PR solutions for clients like the Frontier Communications America’s Best Communities Competition and M&T Bank. Beginning his career as a staff writer for the Dunkirk Observer, John entered the world of PR as Communications Director for New York State Senator Timothy Kennedy where he performed all media relations tasks, supported local advocacy efforts, and served as spokesman. He then moved to a Rochester agency, where he aided various government and corporate clients in their public affairs, community relations, and social media efforts. A resourceful PR practitioner who routinely goes the extra mile, John unwinds by exploring Albany-area hiking trails with his dog, Moosie.

Kailey Kolozsvary

Public Relations Manager

Known for her versatility and resourcefulness, Kailey handles a wide array of strategic communication needs for Martin Davison Public Relations clients like Phillips Lytle LLP, Fashion Outlets Niagara Falls, Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation and the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation. Ever the optimist, Kailey’s professional experience from her PR positions at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and Rochester-based agency Dixon Schwabl allow her to smoothly create effective communication solutions for clients large and small. In addition to her public relations talents, Kailey is a skillful baker and cook, and she’s also a certified yoga instructor.

Kate Wilcox

To say Kate enjoys organization is an understatement (she creates and tracks fitness and meal plans in Excel). However, her analytical aptitudes have paid dividends, because in her previous role at independent media and communications agency Butler/Till, the processes that she created and improved saved the company over 400 hours of work. With experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns for national and regional companies like CenturyLink and the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Kate collaborates with clients and internal departments to produce integrated communication solutions that generate results. An innovator with entrepreneurial spirit, Kate exercises her strategic expertise with The Martin Group after owning and operating her own communications consultancy, Wilcox Rodwell Marketing & Communications, where she worked with small and medium sized businesses and not-for-profits.

Katherine Edwards

Digital Designer/Developer

Katherine has always had a deep appreciation for art. As a kid, she gave friends tours of her grandmother’s watercolor paintings which covered her family’s home. Today, she designs for nationally and globally recognized brands. After graduating from Canisius College, Katherine gained experience with an array of organizations including Titleist, CGI Communications, Inc., and Nixon Peabody LLP. Her varied roles saw her leading a team in the rebranding of a company and embracing the opportunity to enhance her development/coding skills. At The Martin Group, she puts her graphic and web design expertise to work for clients such as Wegmans and Trillium Health. In her free time, Katherine enjoys rewatching episodes of The Office and 30 Rock and trying out recipes from the Food Network’s Ina Garten.

Katie Steelman

A summa cum laude graduate of St. John Fisher College with a double major in Communication/Journalism and Spanish, Katie is poised to ask the right questions to get to the heart of a company’s brand story. An inquiring mind and an eye for detail are great assets for her job of ensuring accuracy and consistency in all content and every job for our Rochester clients. Along with possessing a love for all forms of writing, Katie is HubSpot Certified in content marketing, inbound marketing and the HubSpot platform. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, tennis, reading, watching television and treating herself to anything chocolate.

Kieran Redmond

Senior Art Director

Creating everything from flyers to t-shirts during his formative years of high school, Kieran always had an inkling that he wanted to be an artist. He set out to turn his passion into a career at SUNY Fredonia and later RIT, where he graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design. A seasoned designer with 11 years of experience under his belt, Kieran’s tenacity and affinity for taking on new challenges headfirst has allowed him to build an astonishing portfolio of clients including AutismUP, Mastercard, Seneca Park Zoo, Xerox, and more. Today Kieran translates his vast experience and depth of knowledge into sound creative executions for clients such as Jewish Senior Life, Generations Bank, and Syracuse University. A Rochester native, you’ll likely find him hitting up the best restaurants throughout the city or attending friends’ shows. When he’s not finding the best foods or cooking them himself, he enjoys working on his reclaimed wood art project called Burnt Mill.

Kira Csakany

Creative Supervisor

Born and raised in Heidelberg, Germany, Kira brings an international perspective to The Martin Group’s creative team. After studying at Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig (University of Arts, Braunschweig) and Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada, she spent a number of years working in New York City for the design studios Pandiscio Green and Opto Design. Her client list included JDS Development Group, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Cornell Engineering, New York Public Radio, Rizzoli Books, Starr Restaurants, Amnesty International, Ford Foundation and Audi. Now living in East Aurora with her husband and twin girls, Kira’s worldly design sense enhances marquee clients like Evans Bank and Hearst Publications. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography and, of course, travelling.

Kori Walek

Media Buyer

Kori is an experienced media professional who has worked with some of Western New York’s most prominent advertising agencies over the course of her career. Her previous client list includes BlueCross BlueShield of WNY, WNY Ford Dealers, Hospice Buffalo, Maid of the Mist, and Daimler Trucks North America. Now she provides media buying services for The Martin Group’s valued clientele, including ECMC, Kaleida Health, Samaritan Medical, Regional Transit Service, Student Transportation of America, among many others. An East Aurora native and dedicated vegetarian, Kori finds inspiration perusing fashion magazines and sifting through thrift stores for the less expensive version.

Kristina Robinson

Web Developer

Happily engineering digital experiences since 2016, Kristina graduated from SUNY Alfred State College of Technology with a focus in Web Development. Previous industry clients include SharkNinja and Mattel, the latter spawning Silver ADDY and Gold AVA Digital Awards for Hot Wheels Stunt Designer in 2019. Now as a Web Developer for The Martin Group, she helps with the tactical execution of our digital projects (websites, landing pages, emails, and more) for such clients as Perry’s Ice Cream, Chautauqua Institution, and the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation. In her spare time, Kristina is a “flow artist,” using the hoop as her prop. The “Hoop Wizard” can spend countless hours at a park, spinning her hoop and getting her flow on.

Lee Rowland

Senior Production Designer

Lee brings 15 years of industry experience to her role as senior production designer, producing mechanical designs and ensuring brand consistency for Wegmans packaging and line extensions. While earning her BFA in graphic design from RIT, she won a student ADDY award for a logo design for the Memorial Art Gallery. Since then, she has worked in both an agency and freelance capacity, with notable clients including Frontier Communications, Xerox, Kodak, and George Eastman House. Outside of the office, Lee enjoys knitting, cooking, and indulging in her favorite treat: tiramisu. She also delights in quality time spent with her husband and two daughters—boating and kayaking on Canandaigua Lake, going to the movies, and traveling. She and her family have even traveled with her parents to Vietnam, her mother’s homeland. Lee’s adventurous spirit is evident in her personal mantra: “If you are ever offered a new and challenging opportunity, always say yes, no matter how intimidating it may seem.”

Lesley Ruple

Lesley found her calling during her senior year at the University at Buffalo when she interned with a major agency. Since then, she has embraced advertising/marketing with her typical flair for enthusiasm and organization. She held positions in Traffic, Account Service and Digital Project Management with many noted agencies in Buffalo and Rochester and worked with many notable clients, including Fisher-Price, Sorrento Cheese, Welch’s, First Niagara Bank, MetLife and The Mentholatum Company. For The Martin Group’s Rochester office, Lesley acts as a liaison, helping clients think more strategically about their marketing efforts and how to grow their business. She knows a thing or two about growth—her own brood includes a husband, two daughters, a dog, eight acres and 22 chickens with goats in her near future. Given that, work is the relaxing part of her day.

Lianne Coogan

Lianne’s love of graphic design, typography and branding, coupled with her passion for fine art and photography, have laid the groundwork for her award-winning creative. A member of The Martin Group since 2009, she brings an innate appreciation for beautiful design to her role as creative supervisor. From concepting to producing and directing creative, Lianne ensures that our work is engaging, strategic and cohesive. Her collaborations with clients like New Era Cap, the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Medical Group, Independent Health, Evans Bank and Galbani have won numerous local ADDY® awards. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia, Lianne loves hiking, visiting wineries and traveling to new destinations, with her camera always in hand to document her adventures.

Liberty Genovese

Staff Accountant

Possessing a love for fast-paced environments, working with different departments, and dealing with finances, Libby keeps the financial reporting, records, billing, and other accounting processes running smoothly in our business office. When she joined The Martin Group, she had over eight years of agency experience as a media planner/buyer and over seven years of accounting experience behind her. But she’s not all business. With a personal philosophy of “Life is like accounting, everything must be balanced,” Libby pairs her detail-oriented personality with a dry sense of humor and a dedicated devotion to her family.  When she’s not being an “Uber driver” for her two outgoing teens, she enjoys traveling, decorating, dining out, and online shopping.

Lisa Braun

Armed with a logical thought process, a mind for numbers and an uncanny knack for never missing the tiniest of details, Lisa keeps our accounting process humming along smoothly. With over 30 years of experience, having worked for other Buffalo agencies Travers Collins and Faller, Klenk & Quinlan, Lisa’s organizational aptitudes and extensive familiarity with the advertising industry ensure that all of our accounting needs are tended to with the utmost efficiency. Crunching the numbers for The Martin Group is a serious affair, so Lisa likes to keep things lighthearted by going out dancing in her free time.

Liz Lewin

Public Relations Manager

After logging over seven years as a broadcast journalist—and collecting a couple of Emmy Awards in the process—Liz brings exceptional experience and incredible insight to her first agency role. Beyond reporting for her hometown WKBW-TV and Lansing, Michigan’s WILX-TV, the Fordham University graduate has written for Artvoice and served in the City of Buffalo’s Office of Communications. For The Martin Group, Liz utilizes her unique skills to support our internal publicity efforts and train clients on how to engage the media and deal with different situations. During her free time, Liz enjoys volunteering with kids, serving on several community boards, trying new restaurants, and disconnecting from media for at least two hours a day so she can appreciate life beyond the lens.

Mandy Bly

Digital Marketing Manager

Inspired by art and driven by data, Mandy brings a broad perspective to The Martin Group’s Buffalo office. A graduate of St. John Fisher College with a B.S. in Media Management, Mandy has worked with high-tech and manufacturing companies, start-ups and product launches. Coming from the B2B marketing world, she specializes in digital marketing, inbound/content marketing and analytics. As our Digital Marketing Manager, she supports our team’s tactical efforts, provides strategic insight and manages project timelines and deliverables while also serving as liaison between the digital, media and brand management departments. Outside the office, Mandy’s creatively analytical mind focuses on painting, drawing, DIY projects, trying new restaurants and building up her amateur pizza connoisseur status with her pizza blog.

Marilynn Militello

Senior Account Manager

A Loyola University Chicago graduate who worked in Manhattan with high-profile fashion brands Mario Testino, Vera Wang, Faherty Brand and SOSH Architects, Marilynn brings big city flair and experience to Buffalo. Her six years in the advertising industry have fostered an energetic work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit that thrives under pressure. Marilynn oversees imaginative integrated marketing campaigns that consistently deliver value and results for clients like New Era Cap, Tuxedo Junction and Excelsior College. When she’s not at the office, you can find Marilynn traveling the world and pursuing her passion for photography, language and culture.

Mary Bonomo

Art Director

Although still in the early days of her career, Mary brings an accomplished resume to her position in TMG’s Rochester office. In 2015, she won an ADDY Silver Student Award for a packaging and branding campaign that she designed titled “Hutch Milk.” Before joining TMG, Mary was Associate Art Director/Designer at Partners + Napier, where she initially interned but was later hired. Her client experience includes Chiquita Banana, Dreaming Tree Wines, Rochester General Health Systems’ Women’s Health Services and Casa Noble Tequila. While a student at Nazareth College, she also racked up internship experiences with Minerva Design and Butler/Till. A fan of modern and clean design, Mary is an active member of the Rochester Advertising Federation.

Matt Lahue

Copywriter

With copywriting in his DNA (both his father and brother are copywriters) and a love for exploring ideas in his heart, it was only natural that Matt’s path led him to advertising. Before joining The Martin Group, Matt wrote for a firm in Rochester, where he serviced clients such as Pacific Gas & Electric, The Strong, AZEK, NYSERDA, CenturyLink and ProNexus. At TMG, his talents have been utilized for Galbani, Under Armour, ECMC, New Era Cap, Kaleida Health and many others. When he’s not thinking of new ideas, like his New York Times-featured invention the “Bathroom Bodyguard”—which locks broken bathroom stall doors—the Buffalo State College graduate enjoys lifting weights and staying active outside.

Meg Hunter

Business Development Manager

After beginning her career as a project engineer for liquid rocket engines at Pratt & Whitney, Meg transitioned into marketing. Since then, she’s spent 10 years in the industry, and she approaches our new business strategy with energy and enthusiasm, engaging with companies to determine how we can best meet their communication needs. With past experience at Unilever and CFI Group, she’s worked with companies like Dove, Suave, ServiceMaster, Camp Invent and the Cleveland Indians. Most recently, Meg created customized market research programs as a partner at ColemanWick Market Research, a full-service market research and analytics firm. Meg spends most of her time outside of work raising her three children, and she also volunteers on the Buffalo Zoo Board of Directors, the Marketing and Communications Committee at Nichols School and the John R. Oishei Healing Arts Committee.

Megan Sweeney

Art Director

A preternaturally seasoned designer, Megan has several years’ experience applying her art directing talent and skills to a breadth of advertising tactics, including social media campaigns and digital and web marketing. Past and present projects include broadcast and print work for Independent Health, and designs for Niagara University, Buffalo Medical Group, Galbani, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, and Perry’s Ice Cream. A graduate of Buffalo State College—where she only made the Dean’s list seven times—Megan holds a BFA in communication design. Active in the local advertising scene, the 2018 Future Star ADDY Award winner also sits on the board of the American Advertising Federation’s Buffalo chapter. When not working, Megan enjoys relaxing with friends over a beer.

Melissa Manley

Senior Account Manager

A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a B.S. in Business, Melissa brings an interest in agency life and a passion for organization to our Buffalo office. Her diverse experience includes: an internship in London; numerous marketing positions at New Era Cap; directing marketing, retail and sales efforts for a food distributor and part-time roles selling real estate. Currently, Melissa supports clients like Camp Good Days, Samaritan Medical Center and ECMC by keeping them informed of agency activities and recognizing opportunities to help them build their business. In her free time, the energetic Buffalo native enjoys checking out local hot spots, traveling, taking barre and yoga classes, and helping friends and family with their own personal organization.

Melissa Ortiz

Assistant Art Director

When it comes to food marketing, you could say Melissa is well seasoned. She spent almost 15 years rising through the ranks at Wegmans Food Markets, first in stores where, as a Service Team Leader, she managed a team of about 35 employees and completed a Dale Carnegie course in leadership. A SUNY Oswego grad with a BFA in graphic design, Melissa later made the switch from the store to the creative side, honing her skills on a special assignment within the Wegmans Marketing Department. There she assisted with concept design and quality assurance for packaging and other projects. Melissa brings that experience to The Martin Group’s team, using her creativity to elevate the design of Wegmans Brand products. In her free time, Melissa loves spending time with her husband Oscar and dog Macho (a 6-pound Morkie-Poo), hand lettering, and cooking.

Michelle Anlyn

Senior Production Designer

With over 20 years of industry experience, Michelle is doing what she has always wanted to do. After graduating from Monroe Community College with an A.S. in Communications and Nazareth College with a B.S. in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design, the Rochester native has worked for some Rochester’s most notable agencies as a senior mechanical artist. Her impressive client list includes Xerox, Excellus BCBS, ITT, Causewave Community Partners, Frontier, BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota and MasterCard. Currently, she works with our Wegmans creative teams to keep projects moving seamlessly and accurately within the Wegmans brand. When not working, Michelle spends time with her two daughters—enjoying family movie nights, taking walks, laughing and exploring places they’ve never been.

Mike Barone

Senior Consultant

Throughout his quarter-century career, Mike has provided a full spectrum of public relations, advertising, event management, research and other marketing services to clients in such industries as higher education, financial services, manufacturing and construction, plus a broad array of nonprofits. A former Director of Marketing and Communications for SUNY Fredonia with a passion for storytelling and an understanding of business management, Mike takes pride in helping clients create marketing activities that make sense — for their brand, budget and business. He brings a managerial perspective to strategies and tactics, considering concepts like operations management, staff resources and competitive position in his analyses, recommendations and implementations. When not conceiving innovative client solutions, Mike enjoys concerts, sporting events and being a proud father to his daughter, son, cat, dog… and over 500 Pez dispensers.

Mike Farrell

Senior Manager of Content and Social Media

With more than 15 years of writing experience across a kaleidoscopic variety of mediums, Mike’s covered a lot of ground. The St. Bonaventure University graduate has reported on sports, music and nightlife for The Boston Herald and The Buffalo News; managed media relations and communications for SUNY Erie Community College; and with an MFA in Creative Writing, has authored two novels. Now, he manages content and social media for The Martin Group, crafting copy for names like Excelsior College and Under Armour. When he’s away from his desk, he can be found traversing the resurgent streets of Buffalo—or at home, teaching his two young children the names of every member of the E Street Band.

Monica D’Angelantonio

Studio Manager

With nearly 12 years of experience, Monica’s passion for typography and branding complements her keen attention to detail, allowing her to ensure that our creative lives up to its fullest potential. She lends her perfectionist perspective extensively to agency client Wegmans, producing designs and line extensions as an expansion of their internal team. A graduate of Philadelphia University with her BS in graphic design communication, Monica previously worked as a graphic design engineer/graphic production assistant at RES Exhibit Services. Known for her vibrant, outgoing personality, she spends much of her time outside the office with her husband enjoying concerts, sporting events and visiting with family and friends.

Nicole Napodano

Art Director

Growing up in a close-knit Italian family, Nicole learned to value establishing emotional connections with those around her. While attending Nazareth College for Visual Communication, she quickly fell in love with the advertising industry due to the fact that she could evoke emotions in consumers through her visual designs. She went on to work for a wedding stationery company where she designed for 2,000+ weddings, creating excellent customer experiences by helping couples to see the stationery as a reflection of their big day. A food and wine enthusiast, her passions have also translated to successful freelance work with clients such as Robert Mondavi, Svedka, and Corona. Nicole’s professional experiences and personal values make her the perfect fit for our dedicated Wegmans team, where she uses her love of food and family to connect with Wegmans’ diverse consumer following through graphic design. When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find Nicole spending time with family and friends while partaking in her favorite hobbies: baking and cooking, hitting up wineries and breweries, and lounging out at her family’s cottage in the 1000 Islands.

Nicole Stivaletta

Creative Supervisor

Matchmaking isn’t customarily one of The Martin Group’s services, but for Rochester native Nicole, it’s like everything came together by design. As a little girl being pushed around Wegmans, Nicole told her mom she wanted to make their pretty signs one day. She never imagined doing anything else. Today, she leads TMG Rochester’s Wegmans design studio, where she both designs and assigns creative staff. Before building an impressive career with Rochester agencies designing for both print and digital, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from UB and was an Honors Scholar. She even interned at our Buffalo office in 2009. Along with typography, Nicole loves baking, volunteering and wearing polka dots as often as possible.

Pat Sandora-Nastyn

Senior Account Manager

A natural communicator from early on—“talks too much” appeared on many report cards—Pat grew up to develop an interesting media career. At Westminster College, the Pittsburgh native worked in campus radio and executive produced a weekly, live TV show. After earning a B.A. in Broadcast Communications, Pat started his career as an NBC Page in New York City, and later became an award-winning senior producer of digital video for iVillage.com/NBC Universal. Now for The Martin Group, Pat lives at the intersection of ideas and execution as a client liaison for Perry’s Ice Cream, Galbani Cheese, Buffalo Medical Group, and others. Outside of work, Pat cultivates his green thumb as a proud plant dad while he and his husband highlight their household adventures on YouTube.

Paul England

Senior Art Director

When faced with a new challenge, Paul England dives right in. A creative leader with nearly 25 years of industry experience, he relishes taking on new projects that blend problem-solving and conceptual design. He brings this energy with him to The Martin Group Rochester, where he nurtures the creative culture in the office while immersing himself in the development, production, and design of impactful marketing pieces for clients such as Wegmans and Syracuse University. A Rochester transplant by way of Houston, Texas, Paul has led various agencies’ creative teams, serving diverse clients such as Compaq Computers, The Houston Chronicle, Igloo, Xerox, Harris Corporation, The Strong Museum, and Ad Council of Rochester. His work has won him several ADDY awards, an ADDY ROI award, and Art Director achievement awards. Outside of the office, Paul enjoys kayaking, diving, weightlifting, running, and hiking. He also dabbles in photography, a passion he shares with his daughter, Jordan.

Pauline Wegman

Digital Designer/Developer

The intersection of art and business has always been an area of interest for Pauline. A graduate of Nazareth College, she received her B.S. in Fine Arts and Studio Art with a concentration in painting and a minor in entrepreneurship. In addition to freelance design and working for a startup, her already accomplished career has included managing a team of graphic designers and web specialists in the production and maintenance of 5,000+ websites, as well as internal and external print production. Today Pauline is a valued member of our digital studio, where her outgoing personality and enthusiasm for problem-solving help to ensure a positive experience for clients such as Wegmans and New York Wine & Grape Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, painting, kayaking, and being taken for a walk by her human-size Great Dane.

Rachel Giralico

Creative Supervisor

Rachel is a creative dynamo who brings past experience with the client to our Wegmans-focused design studio. In addition to having worked on all levels of Wegmans jobs and being familiar with their systems and team, she has worked on both the agency side and client side of the industry. With a limitless creative imagination, she excels at conceptual projects and building work from the ground up. However, being meticulous and detail oriented, she also loves production work. Outside of the office, Rachel is a CrossFit Level 1 coach and dedicates much of her time to the sport. She also loves interior decorating, antique shopping and abstract painting.

Robin Needham

Media Director

As VP Media with the former Travers Collins, Robin brings over 30 years’ experience in the advertising and marketing industry, including a diverse background in account service and media strategy, planning, management, research, and buying.  Robin treats every client with a warm, welcoming attitude, and uses her intimate knowledge of marketing channels to identify strategic, impactful placements for our clients’ messages and creative work. Robin’s media account management spans the healthcare, automotive, retail, travel and tourism, financial, and senior living industries, but she has an admitted passion for nonprofits. Therefore, she is committed to stretching advertising dollars as far as she can.  A member of the association board of directors for YMCA Buffalo Niagara, Robin is an avid fisherwoman and loves to relax in the Thousand Islands, especially on Black Lake.

Rosemary Witschard

Traffic Manager

Some might consider the task of guiding projects from client to creative and back to client, along with their prerequisite paperwork, to be a juggling act, but for Rosemary, a former (nonprofessional) ballerina, it’s a daily dance. Charged with a positive attitude and over 30 years of operational experience (with MFB Productions, Inlighten, Inc. and Paragon Advertising, to name a few), she choreographs work already scheduled, introduces new jobs to the mix and makes sure everything is completed on time. When not involved in keeping TMG running smoothly, Rosie can be found playing acoustic guitar with her friends, making a getaway to her property in Allegany County with her husband or managing her four cats.

Samantha DiBona

Project Manager

A passion for people and a love of all things creative propelled Sam into the communications field. After graduating from Fredonia State College with a degree in public relations, she went on to hold positions at Entercom Marketing Results Group, Empire Digital Signs, and Grand Atlas Property Management; at Grand Atlas, she helped turn her department into a well-oiled machine, churning out hundreds of projects a month with a small team. As project manager at The Martin Group Rochester, Sam brings her creative problem-solving skills to our work with Wegmans, streamlining processes so we can continuously produce top-of-the-line work for the client. Sam is a self-proclaimed pop culture junkie who can give you the scoop on everything from Game of Thrones to The Real Housewives. In her free time, you can find her reading, catching a show at the Auditorium Theatre, or enjoying one of Rochester’s many festivals.

Sarah Calandra

Art Director

Growing up in a large family of creatives—from musicians to Nascar painters—Sarah seemed fated to follow a similar path. She graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in graphic design from RIT, where her student work earned her an ADDY Gold award and RAF student scholarship award. She specializes in shopper-based design and strategy, as well as packaging design and UX/UI, skills she has put to use throughout her career for clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, and iRobot. Today Sarah works with our Wegmans team to create and direct engaging material for promotional events, in-store marketing, and more. A native of Rochester, she loves exploring Upstate New York’s craft breweries and wineries—she even reviews them on her Instagram blog. When she’s not taste-testing the latest brew, she enjoys cooking, working out at the gym (she can deadlift 200 lbs), and showing pictures of her rescue pitbull, Stitch, to anyone she meets.

Scott Wolf

Senior Digital Designer/Developer

Scott Wolf knows that good things come in twos. He’s a twin, owns two full-grown Vizslas, and now joins The Martin Group as a “hybrid” UX/UI designer and front-end developer. As a member of The Martin Group Rochester’s digital team, Scott designs and builds digital pieces for Wegmans as well as other agency clients. Throughout his career in the advertising industry, Scott has worked for notable Rochester agencies and as a freelance designer, with an impressive client roster including Harris, CooperVision, UPS, Wegmans, ConAgra, Xerox, and Genesee Brewery. His work has earned him several local ADDY awards over the years, as well as two Effie awards. Speaking of wins, Scott was on the Cornhole League of Rochester’s championship-winning team in 2013. When he’s not at work or dominating recreational sporting events, Scott enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and walking his dogs, Pico and Doolin, with his wife, Julie. A beer connoisseur and avid traveler, Scott loves tasting local brews wherever he goes—some of his favorite trips have been to Osaka, Japan; Bruges and Brussels, Belgium; and Asheville, NC.

Shannon Specht

Public Relations Manager

Shannon started out as an aspiring writer who majored in both journalism and political science at St. Bonaventure University, where she was honored as the runner-up for the Mark Hellinger Award—an award given to the top graduates of the Jandoli School of Journalism & Mass Communication. After meeting our own Dick Shaner, she joined his firm at the time and worked with such clients as Independent Health, Catholic Charities, Disney on Ice (Feld Entertainment), Phillips Lytle, and St. Bonaventure University. Now an Excalibur Award-winning public relations professional, Shannon continues working with our healthcare and nonprofit clients on a part-time basis. Outside of work, she enjoys family time with her husband and three young children.

Terry Caber

Studio Supervisor

An experienced art director who has worked with companies such as Tops Friendly Markets, Darien Lake, SPCA of Western New York, Louie’s Texas Red Hots, and Seneca Resorts & Casinos. Terry is known for both his kind, generous nature and keen graphic sensibilities. His expertise in health care, financial services, B2B, and nonprofits help him conceptualize and create unique graphic solutions for agency clients like New Era Cap Company, Catholic Charities, ECMC, Kaleida Health, and MassMutual’s The Establishment. As studio supervisor, Terry manages a team of designers who are responsible for various day-to-day activities at The Martin Group while also helping younger designers hone their craft. Though Terry is renowned for his friendliness, be careful—he spends some of his spare time learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Traci Legonelli

Senior Account Manager

Inspired by her high school guidance counselor who told her, “I can picture you being a spokesperson for Revlon,” Traci went on to graduate magna cum laude with a BA in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego. Her 8 years of industry experience includes public relations and account service roles, managing relationships with clients such as ESL, Six Flags Darien Lake, the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, and the American Diabetes Association. Traci attributes her invaluable ability to connect with clients to her experience in both agency and corporate environments—experience she translates to her role at The Martin Group. As a Senior Brand Manager, she acts as a liaison to clients including Nichols School, Jewish Senior Life, Trillium Health, Generations Bank, and New York Wine & Grape Foundation—planning projects, handling budgets, and developing ongoing business relationships. When Traci isn’t in the office, you’ll likely find her keeping up on the latest pop culture and celebrity gossip, visiting her parents for their weekly Sunday family dinners and football, and volunteering with Gilda’s Club in Rochester.

Victoria Kopra

Operations Coordinator

In the fast-paced, hustle-centric advertising industry, Victoria’s friendly face and warm attitude provide a welcome relief from the daily grind. She’s no stranger to the advertising world, having spent 11 years in the accounting department at local agency Crowley Webb & Associates. As a part of our operations team, Victoria helps keep the agency’s wheels moving, coordinating various administrative and accounting needs. To unwind, Victoria enjoys sharing a tall glass of ice-cold beer with family and friends.

Victoria Wixson

Junior Copywriter

Victoria knows a thing or two about challenging and changing perspectives. She played men’s lacrosse for five years, overcoming common perceptions about gender within athletics. Today she develops compelling ideas that help audiences see brands in a new light. As a junior copywriter, Victoria creates copy for digital and print advertising and collaborates on campaign concepting for clients including Wegmans, Jewish Senior Life, Trillium Health, Bond Benefits Consulting, and more. It was her own shift in perspective during college that led her down the path to advertising copywriting. While completing the 3+1 program for fashion marketing through SUNY Oneonta and the Fashion Institute of Technology, she spent a semester in Florence, Italy. Concepting projects she completed for the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and Florence’s Eataly challenged her creatively and inspired her to switch her career focus to advertising and marketing communications, where she could make a greater impact than just within the fashion industry. When she’s not working, Victoria loves spending time with her significant other being outdoors hiking, snowboarding, playing in a kickball league, or walking their dog, Princeton.
