Kate Measer

Public Relations Director

Kate Measer is an industry veteran who leverages her intimate understanding of the news to help her clients get the right story to the right audience at the right time. As a former Executive Producer at television newsrooms in Washington, D.C., Phoenix and Buffalo, Kate has two Emmy Awards and two Edward R. Murrow Awards for outstanding achievements in broadcast journalism. As Public Relations Director at The Martin Group, Kate supports high-level clients like Independent Health, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and Chautauqua Institution in the planning and implementation of strategic solutions as well as engaging with members of the media to gain the best coverage possible. Her experience leading PR campaigns also includes clients in the construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, sports and cannabis industries. Kate is a leader in the firm’s media training practice and frequently works with clients on crisis communications planning and response. The Williamsville native and Canisius College alum is active with organizations like Make-a-Wish, FeedMore WNY and PRSA Buffalo Niagara. In her free time, Kate enjoys exploring new destinations, listening to live music, and spending time outdoors with her family.
