The Martin Group Unveils “A Different Brand Of Thinking”

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – The Martin Group—one of Western New York’s “Fastest Growing” and “Most Admired” companies—today unveiled an updated brand identity and the tagline “a different brand of thinking.”

“The last 15 years have been a tremendous ride,” said Tod Martin, president and chief creative officer of The Martin Group. “From day one, we have strived for constant improvement and ever-increasing sophistication in service to our many valued clients. As our size and approach has evolved, we’ve welcomed the opportunity to reimagine how we communicate The Martin Group’s brand and all that our agency has to offer.”

Founded in 2001, The Martin Group is a leading integrated communications firm, headquartered in downtown Buffalo, NY, with offices in Rochester, NY. The company has roughly 50 associates and extensive experience in numerous industry verticals, including sports, health care, financial services, higher education and not-for-profit work.

“The new brand reflects exactly what we stand for,” said Dion Pender, senior vice president, executive creative director, and Rochester office managing director of The Martin Group. “It is simple and speaks to our never-ending commitment to uncomplicating a complicated business. But, it also demonstrates our flexibility, as we aim to be the agency that values the small business down the street just as much as our largest clients across the country. While the brand is understated, it will rightfully move the emphasis onto our clients’ brands instead of our own.”

In the spring of 2017, the agency is slated to move into its new, 18,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters at 620 Main Street in downtown Buffalo. Meanwhile, The Martin Group’s Rochester office continues to expand via staff members and new account relationships.

As part of the brand update and in anticipation of the corporate headquarters relocation, the firm is releasing a collection of collateral tools and materials in the coming days and months ahead, such as: a new website homepage, printed marketing collateral, business cards, advertisements, and a series of digital and social media assets.



The Martin Group is a best-in-class integrated communications provider that has focused on high-quality work, strong organic growth and several strategic acquisitions.
