Hey, what’s the big idea?

Hey, what’s the big idea? – The Martin Group

43North-1

43North–World’s Largest Business Idea Competition announced the conclusion of its year-two application period on June 24. Martin Davison Public Relations contributed to the applicant push for startups and entrepreneurs from around the world by helping coordinate a multi-city roadshow tour to engage out-of-market audiences, partnering with national organizations and incubators/accelerators, and organizing visits to Canada, India, Europe and the tech-startup Collision Conference in Las Vegas. Public relations activities supported the overall outreach efforts, which included online video creation, blog placements, ongoing interaction with print/broadcast business media and direct prospect email engagement. Primary event themes focused on the success of the competition’s inaugural year, the experiences of the 2014 winners, and the benefits of starting a business in the Buffalo Niagara region. The 43North competition offers a total of $5 million in cash prizes, mentorship, incubator space and other benefits to prospective winners.
