Evans Bank has long provided a unique, homegrown experience to their retail and commercial banking customers. But as their target audience and financial services offerings expanded, it was time to rebuild the online presence to match.
With an established, longstanding partnership, The Martin Group was well-equipped to provide the expertise necessary to update the site in an effort to keep up with competition and deliver an online user experience that matched the personal touch Evans’ customers received in-branch.
Leading with polished lifestyle photography directed at Evans’ target audience, our creative and digital teams partnered to develop a modern and intuitive design with an engaging home page to greet new and returning visitors to the site – literally. Personalization features were leveraged to include relatable, timely welcome messaging to users based on the time of day, local events, weather, and more.
The overall site structure took into account the needs and intentions of every user, giving quick access to existing accounts as well as offering a clear path for new users to find the services and information they need. This clear, accessible path very much supported ADA compliance regulations as well, a high priority for this website redesign.
Through these stylistic and structural changes—along with site-wide updates to content that presented a more conversational tone—the newly launched site delivers a friendly, professional, and trustworthy user experience reflective of the overall evolved Evans Bank brand.
