What We’re Thankful For

It’s been a great year at The Martin Group, from announcing our new home at 620 Main St. to the announcement as Buffalo Business First’s 2nd Fastest Growing Company and the 2016 Fast Track Awards, we have A LOT to be thankful for this year. Without our talented TMG groupies and collaborative and creative clients, TMG would not be able to accomplish all that it does everyday.

In honor of Thanksgiving, we feel it’s appropriate to list what each of our teammates are thankful for:

I’m most thankful for having Robin and Krista working with me in the media department.  Both are media super stars and very talented in everything they do. Plus they are a heck of a lot of fun…..we laugh all day over here at the annex!
– Jim Lynch, Vice President | Media Director

I am thankful for having a car, dishwasher, washer & dryer, garbage disposal and an air conditioner – all of which I survived without for seven years in NYC.
– Christine Denham, Senior Public Relations Manager

I am thankful for my husband and son.
– Stefanie Meyers, Staff Accountant

I’m thankful for TMG/MDPR colleagues, cats, and craft beer!
– Kelsey Hanks, Public Relations Specialist

I’m thankful for my two boys…marker stains on face and all.
– Matt Davison, Managing Partner

I’m thankful for my family and friends. They’re what makes my world go round.
– Lisa Strock, Senior Vice President | Managing Director Buffalo

This year, I’m most grateful for many new beginnings: new job, new car, new apartment, new ground in my best friendships, and NEW SEASON OF GILMORE GIRLS ON FRIDAY 😀
– Emily Pumm, Multimedia Specialist

I’m thankful for my health so I can be there for loved ones who need me. This past year, I started calling my dad twice a day to check in on him. It’s brought us closer and given me 730 chances to tell him I love him—far more than I ever told him before.
– Jennifer Hoffmire, Senior Copywriter

I’m grateful for the addition of our little peanut Julep Eden to our family. You have turned our world upside down in all the right ways.
– Andrea Elliott, Creative Supervisor

I am thankful for a healthy family and good friends!!!
– Lisa Braun, Senior Accountant

I’m thankful for another year watching my son, Roman, grow from a baby into a little boy. The laughs (and messes!) are endless!
– Christie Berardi, Senior Brand Manager

Recently, my older sister Ellen moved to Minnesota. With her being gone, it’s reminded me of how lucky and thankful I am to have her, and my younger sister Colleen, in my life. I’m even more thankful to my parents for putting up with 3 girls so close in age all these years…especially when we were teenagers!
– Sarah DiPofi, Brand Manager

I’m thankful for great family and great friends, and especially thankful for my wonderful mother-in-law, Doreen, who amazes me everyday how positive and strong she remains through her battle with breast cancer. Love you, Dor!
-Lianne Coogan, Senior Art Director

I am thankful for everything!
-Mike Prezioso, Vice President Operations

I am thankful that the election is over and we can all just move FORWARD.  I’d say a positive, optimistic attitude is imperative for everyone!!
-Rosemary Witschard, Traffic Manager

I’m thankful for my health, family, friends and the newest addition to my household- Charlie. I never knew I could love a dog this much until we adopted her!
– Sarah Richheimer, Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator

I am thankful that so many members of the local media provided coverage this week for JustTellOne.org, a very important public awareness campaign to help those suffering from depression, suicidal thoughts, alcohol abuse, or substance abuse, in particular young people. I am especially thankful that the car that came racing up behind me on the 33 Monday night while traffic was stopped in the center lane somehow managed to swerve left and avoid slamming into me. I have a feeling I would be eating my turkey dinner in a hospital (or worse) if he hadn’t done so. And of course I am always thankful for my family and friends, my health, and my colleagues and clients at work. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and peace.
– Dick Shaner, Senior Vice President | Public Relations

I am thankful for so many things in 2016 — starting with New Year’s Eve fireworks in Downtown Buffalo at the Electric Light Tower! I am grateful for a city that is booming, and the blessings of family, friends and faith.
– Kelli Putney, Senior Vice President | Brand Strategist—Key Accounts

I am thankful for my friends and the health of my family. I am also thankful for having such an awesome and lively group of coworkers, and for finding a workplace that I enjoy coming into every day.
-Mary Bonomo, Assistant Art Director

I am grateful for another year of health, love and happiness.  And forever thankful for the three special girls in my life.
-Krista Sobon, Media Planner | Buyer

I’m thankful of course for the arrival of my beautiful, healthy baby girl Avery Scarlett and for the support of my wonderful wife Julia — and for old age turning me into a sap. Thankful also for the amazing opportunity we have ahead of us with the move into a new office in 2017 and continued expansion and evolution of Martin Davison Public Relations and The Martin Group.
– John Jiloty, Social Media Director

I’m thankful for my four-legged fur baby that I added to my family this year.
-Kaily Kolozsvary, Public Relations Manager
