When Frenchie came to The Martin Group, it was to design the can label for their new premium hydration beverage. Named after the founder’s two French bulldogs, Frenchie contains the optimal amounts of electrolytes and water to ensure pure hydration without the unnecessary adds, like corn syrup and chemicals. But living outside the established world of energy drinks and sports drinks comes with its own unique challenges. The Frenchie brand would need to make an amazing first impression on consumers, but it would also need to be understood and not confused with just another energy drink. So, taking cues from the product itself, our team struck a balance. Between hydration and French bulldogs, and between education and excitement. All to provide consumers with a pure experience that just feels right.
