Based on the findings of a series of studies commissioned by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, it was determined that fewer kids than ever are participating in non-structured play.
As a result, the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation partnered with the Tony Hawk Foundation and KaBOOM to launch Built to Play. This initiative gives communities the opportunity to have innovative play spaces and skateparks built in their towns. The Martin Group was enlisted to capture the initiative’s passion for play in the form of a new brand identity, while weaving in the functionality, clarity and inspiration necessary to make a big-time impact. Our team also created a simple and playful microsite that community members can use to have play built right into their children’s lives.
