Look, up in the sky…

As longtime supporters of the Mental Health Association of Erie County (MHA), TMG was pleased to serve as a sponsor for the Buffalo Superhero 5K Race and Wellness Walk, a collaborative fundraiser benefiting Compeer of Greater Buffalo and MHA. TMG’s mission was to support the promotion of the event through public relations and grassroots marketing efforts for 2015 and start preliminary work on evolving the Race/Walk’s brand identity for 2016. Ultimately, our efforts paid off as organizers said this year’s event was “the biggest and best ” in its nearly 30-year history. More than 1,100 people (a 62 percent increase) attended the June 5 event and a record $64,000 was raised. We succeeded in turning out the media in full force; our media relations yielded major coverage before the race with significant reporting the night of the race as well.
