You will be responsible for daily journal entries and billing, analyzing financial information for accuracy and completeness.

Primary Responsibilities
- Verifies, allocates, posts, and reconciles accounts payable and receivables
- Audits and verifies information
Billing
- Processes billing, analyzing for discrepancies
- Calls on Open PO’s reviewing and analyzing aging PO’s and abnormal entries
- Checks for errors and suggests ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Supports month-end and year-end close process
- Runs all mid-month client reports
- Reviews gross income report and communicate with CFO
- Balances accounting records daily
- Ensures that the agency’s financial records are maintained in compliance with policies and directives, GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Skills and Abilities
- Communicates effectively in person, via email, and via the telephone with both the client and the agency’s team on specific projects
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Strong Organization skills with an attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- In-depth understanding of GAAP
- Understanding of the impact of debits and credits
- Familiarity of accounting software
- Collaborates effectively internally and cross departmentally to reach Agency objectives
- Knowledge of accounting principals
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting or business related field
Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000
