Annual report. Perennial values.

Annual report. Perennial values. – The Martin Group

As you might imagine, stuff changes pretty quickly in our business. That’s what makes it exciting and rewarding, and may be why there are so many TV shows about advertising.

But every once in a while, it’s a nice change of pace to work with client that’s steady as they come. And that is why we love Generations Bank so much. Generations Bank is headquartered in Seneca Falls, NY — the place that inspired the little town in the Christmas favorite, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” starring Jimmy Stewart. Both the fictional town and the real one are good, old-fashioned places with values from the days when, well…people knew who Jimmy Stewart was.

We recently had the pleasure to produce the Generations Bank Annual Report. But it could have been called a Perennial Report instead because the majority of the message revolved around the values that haven’t changed from year to year—or from century to century for that matter. Each spread in the report highlighted those values and the people that were helped through the programs that the Bank champions in local communities.

The Annual Report became a piece that communicated the Bank’s performance over the past year, but it really talked about things that are much more timeless.
