The Martin Group, a premier integrated communications firm is looking to hire a Senior Account Manager.
You will be the liaison to the client, responsible for the overall success of your assigned accounts, ensuring client expectations are met on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities
- Utilizes expertise to develop and manage the strategy for assigned clients. Uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze problems and plan for solutions.
- Manages timelines, workflow, meetings, and status reports for projects from start to finish. Responsible for developing budgets. Reviews all project financials, including billing and reconciliations, and has a role in ensuring the agency’s profitability.
- Maintains accurate and timely client, pipeline, and forecast data.
- With support from more senior members of the team, contributes to the development of new business proposals for existing clients.
- Communicates effectively both internally and externally (clients, vendors, community). Expertly communicates information related to responsibilities. Presents information clearly and is able to influence without authority. Works across departments to resolve issues proactively.
- Mentors more junior members of the team and in other departments. Effectively communicates information regarding assigned responsibilities, motivating others to collaborate around objectives.
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with clients by being their advocate, problem-solver and providing proactive thinking. Has a strong understanding of the client’s industry. Assists in communicating industry changes and developing solutions to market disrupters. Identifies opportunities for growth within assigned accounts. Acts as an external agency ambassador by attending client industry specific business community events.

Proactively looks for ways to help the team succeed. Is accountable for individual deliverables, and is actively engaged in the constant evolution of the agency.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates superior organization skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to learn and become proficient in the Agency’s project management software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of agency or client experience
- Agency experience preferred
Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000
