A fundraiser for the National Women’s Hall of Fame, the first Women’s Right to Run 19K took place Mother’s Day Weekend 2016. TMG Rochester was honored to develop creative for the race inspired by the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. Our logo depicts a strong, athletic woman/runner breaking out of a box. Closer examination reveals that she is also a “checkmark,” further symbolizing voting rights. Our posters used historical Library of Congress women’s suffrage photography blended with modern imagery to dramatically illustrate the philosophical progress society has made.
